Whitby Krampus Run

Saturday 2 December

Whitby is at the forefront of bringing the European tradition of Krampus to the UK.

While St. Nicholas rewarded the good children, Krampus was a half-goat, half-demon who punished those less well-behaved.

The Whitby Krampus run is a spectacular costume parade that celebrates the music, myth and folklore of the dark side of the Santa Claus legend.
